Welcome Bo Hendricks!!

Kal's brother Ben and wife Christy had there baby, Bo Hendricks on June 21, 2011 via c section. He weighed 9 pounds 6 oz and is 20.5 inches long. Mom and baby are doing awesome! We think he is super cute. Kal and I are excited to have our first nephew!

What Fun Is!!!

Lagoon!

Saturday was Usana's lagoon day! So the whole family got to go to Lagoon. Every year I really look forward to going. Kal is not a fan of rides like me so its been exciting to see Taylor start loving them. Taylor and Riley rode a bunch of rides together. Kal kept telling me Riley was to little to go on the rides but Taylor would put his arm around Riley and hang on to him. Riley loved them and Taylor was so proud to hang onto his little brother. He is quite the protector when it comes to other things or kids trying to mess with his little brother. Taylor then begged us to let him run through the fountain so just before we left I (Kal didn't want him to get wet) let him run through it. Let the kid be a kid right!! He had so much fun! Riley on the other hand didn't want to get wet, I think he will have changed his mind by next year! We will see.

Happy Father's Day ....

To the man who teases way to much, taught me many life lessons, has an unshakable testimony, can cook the yummiest ribs ever and spoils his grandkids way to much!

To the man who looks good on a Harley, cooks the only fish that I like to eat, is very generous, works way to hard and spoils his grandkids way to much!!!

To the man who is an amazing life partner, can carve an amazing pumpkin, loves speaking in church, can fix any computer problem, can make me feel like a million bucks even after the worst day and will sacrifice anything for his family.

Riley 18 months

Who would have guessed this kid had two shots today! Riley had his 18 month check up today. He is 34 inches tall 82%, and 24.2 oz in weight 20%. The Dr has heard a small heart murmur and so we have to go get an EKG and chest X-ray done next week. Hopefully its nothing. Other than that he is perfect. Taylor kept telling Riley he was so brave for getting shots. Taylor, Kal, and I have sure loved having Riley in our home these 18 months. He is so happy. He brings a special joy to each of us. WE LOVE YOU RILEY!

Unlce Breck

Uncle Breck "007"

This last week we had a close family friend, Uncle Breck, pass away. My dad had stayed with him while he was on his mission for nine months. They became close and our family stayed close. He was an amazing man. He worked for the CIA, so we called him 007. We never did find out what he did because when we asked he would replay, "Then I would have to kill you!" ha He was famous for always sending my family boxes and boxes of chocolates. Just recently when Riley was about six months old he sent the boys matching teddy bears. Breck lived in Glibert AZ. I was lucky enough to get my shift covered at work and the boys, my parents, Krissy, and Emily all drove there. It was a long 12 hour drive but everything went well and the funeral was neat. I am glad our family could attend. It was the first time Taylor had been to Arizona. He was really excited to see the big cactuses. He kept telling me, "Mom stay away from those cactuses, the pokies can kill you!" I could barely get him to stand close enough for that picture.

Seven Peaks Fun

My sister Jenn and I got got our families the pass of all passes this year. It includes liberty land, seven peaks, and trafalga Orem. Yesterday we took the kids to seven peaks and met up with some of Jenn's friends. The kids all had a blast. It was a perfect day and the water was nice. Taylor loves the wave pool. He will jump the waves. He also loves all the water slides. He is pretty daring when it comes to water. Riley is such a little fish. I would set him free in the shallow part of the wave pool. He loves to walk on his hands and knees in the water but before long he would be up to his ears in water. I would have to bring him back into the shallow water and he would get so mad. He thinks he can go anywhere and be and big as his brother and cousins.

High Flyin'

Riley is so much fun. He is so daring. Which is sometimes a bad thing. Kal and I have to watch him really close. Its funny though the kid has great balance. He can stand on our hands without falling, even with Kal who can lift him quite a bit higher. He has had great balance since he was really small. We have tried the same trick with Taylor and he has found its not as easy as his little brother makes it look!
