Harley Birthday

We had Riley's 2nd birthday Nov 9,2011. It was really fun! Riley loves motorcycles so we had a Harley birthday party. I made lasagna for dinner. Kal's mom Deb made a really cool yummy cake! We had lots of family here to celebrate. He received a leather Harley jacket, motorcycle boots, goggles, a motorcycle, clothes, cars, bath toys, a Spiderman bed and lots of other toys. He was really spoiled. Riley is such a fun and smart 2 year old. He loves playing and wrestling with his brother. He sure love this little guy and are so glad he is in our family.

All in all Riley is doing awesome and growing as he should.

The Dr did say that Riley has a steells heart murmur but should grow out of it.

We were also told to take Riley in for a follow up chest x ray which we did yesterday.

We are still waiting for the results.

* Riley turned two Nov 2. but we are celebrating with a party tonight. Their will be more pics to come!

Trick or Treat

We had a great Halloween this year. The weather was wonderful. Kalvin's side of the family all came over. Kal's Mom made dinner-yummy yummy chili, cornbread and tons of cupcakes. A bunch of the adults took the kids trick or treating. It was so much fun. Taylor and Riley were both really into it. Riley kept telling all the neighbors giving him candy "Happy Ween." Super CUTE!

Halloween Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins the Sunday before Halloween, well I should say the kids painted little pumpkins and Kalvin carved the bigger ones. Kalvin is really good at carving. I requested a pumpkin with a butterfly on it! It was really fun and the kids enjoyed making a mess.

Whats going on??

We have been in St George for the past week with my side of the family. It was so much fun!! Kalvin enjoyed golfing everyday, I enjoyed the shopping outlets and the kids enjoyed swimming everyday at least once. It was warm enough to swim outside. We enjoyed getting in one last bit of sun before summer is officially over. The kids did great for being away from home for a week other then Riley started to throw up the last day. I was worried about the drive home. He did awesome, but of course just as we were pulling in the drive way he threw up all over his car seat. YUCK! But he is doing much better now. I think he was super tired and just needed some good rest. My kids weren't use to getting up at 7:00 along with there cousins!

Pumkin Patch

Yesterday my Mom took the boys and I to a pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins. It was alot of fun. They had little wheel barrels for the kids, a free crown maze, tractors to sit on and hay stakes to climb on. Riley loved the tractors and had to always be on the same one as Taylor. Taylor loved the corn maze and talked Grandma into going several times. Grandma then took us to lunch at wingers, one of our favorites.

Summer Days

My family is so sad summer is close to over! We have enjoyed many visits to the park, swimming and lots of playing in the backyard. Its been nice to just let the boys run around to burn some energy. One of Riley's favorite things this summer has been "helping" Dad mow the lawn. He follows Kal all over the yard with his small lawn mower.
